The editors of LifeSiteNews.com understood the nature of online publishing from the start, when they launched in 1997. While newspapers and magazines played Hamlet for years over how to use the internet, stuck in slow motion, legacy publishing cycles, LSN did the obvious. They published breaking news straight to the web—ten or more articles every weekday. Not surprisingly, they built one of the largest audiences in their market.
By 2010 the editors realized that their website, and its underlying content management system, was antiquated. They needed a more powerful and flexible publishing platform, and a new and better website design, to handle their prolific editorial output. Transmodern Media delivered a fresh, contemporary design, and was able to meet the programming challenges of converting a complex site, and a large e-newsletter database, to a new integrated platform (including the transfer of many thousands of article pages). The new website has given LSN a solid foundation which they have used to continue to grow their traffic.
